Chakra Healing

Mereu cautam in jurul nostru persoane pe care sa le vindecam, vedem in altii suferinte si incercam sa ajutam, dar facem asta pentru a fugi de propriile dureri si ganduri negre. E un proces complex sa intelegem si sa ne acceptam conditia, iar opozitia noastra fata de ce si cine suntem il complica. Ne maturizam doar iubindu-i pe cei care ne insotesc pe drumul vietii si ne implinim doar acceptandu-ne...

We always look around us for people to heal, we see the suffering and try to help, but we do this to run away from our own dark thoughts. It is a complex process to understand and accept our condition and our opposition against what and who we are makes it more difficult. We only grow up after we learn to love the ones that accompany our lives and we feel accomplished only after we accept ourselves.

In plimbarile pe care le facem, lungi sau scurte, mereu gasim "ciudatenii" comestibile. Azi e despre inimile de papura, despre care tot citisem si tare eram curioasa. Le-am adunat de pe malul unui paraias, le-am decojit de frunzele verzi, mai tari si am muscat din ele. Sunt neasteptat de fragede si cu un gust subtil de castravete. O parte le-am sotat cu unt, sare, vin si miere, iar pe celelalte le-am conservat in saramura. Sezonul de plante salbatice e in toi si roadele sunt tot mai bogate, asa ca avem in fiecare zi ocazia sa gatim ceva nou si delicios.

During the long and short trips we take, we always find strange edible wild plants. Today is about cattails, of which we read before and they got me curious. We easily picked them from a small stream, cleaned the green and tougher leaves and took a bite from the raw hearts. They are unexpectedly soft and crunchy with a mild cucumber taste. We sauteed  a part with butter, salt, honey and wine and the others we preserved in brine. The wild edible plants bounty is richer with every walk, so each day we get the chance to taste amazing and delicious new foods.
